Poland raised combat aircraft during a missile attack by the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine in the morning of February 15. This was reported in the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Poland in Twitter.
"We inform you that the intensive activity of long-range aviation of the Russian Federation is being observed, connected with the launch of missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine," — the message says.
The command has started all the necessary procedures to ensure the safety of Polish airspace, the situation is constantly monitored.
"We warn that Polish and allied aircraft are involved, which may cause an increased level of noise, especially in the southeastern part of the country," — added to the armed forces of Poland.
