After the "Coalition of the Willing" summit in Paris, the United States did not join the joint communiqué with Europe and Ukraine regarding participation in peacekeeping forces. About this reported the Politico.
Security protocols are largely agreed upon, according to President Donald Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, but the participation of American troops in the peacekeeping operation has not been agreed upon. France, in turn, is ready to send "several thousand troops" after the cessation of hostilities, Emmanuel Macron said.
Transatlantic relations remain a pressing issue: the Greenland discussion, which could escalate the situation, was not commented on at the summit, although the White House noted that "various options", including military intervention, remain on the table.

In particular, Germany expressed its willingness to join in ensuring a ceasefire, while emphasizing that it does not plan to send its own troops, unlike France and Great Britain.
At the same time, Ukraine, France and the United Kingdom signed a declaration on creation of a joint coordination group.
According to French President Emmanuel Macron, the new mechanism will allow for the full integration of the armed forces of the countries involved.
The coordination group will work at the operational level in cooperation with the special headquarters in Paris. This should ensure maximum coordination of the actions of the countries of the "coalition of the willing" in supporting Ukraine.
