Dnipro, Kharkiv, Poltava and regions were covered by a dust storm. Local residents complain about poor air quality. This is reported by Telegram channels.

People took photos and videos of what their cities look like in the morning of September 30.

As reported by Sumy hydrometeorological centerand, serious deterioration of air quality in the eastern and northeastern regions of Ukraine arose due to the "throwing" of dust and smog from the territory of Russia by an atmospheric vortex.

"If the dust came from the Caspian Sea, then the smog is directly theirs. There are now large-scale forest fires. All this mixture of dust and smog was attracted by the southeast wind. The highest concentration of particles in the air is currently recorded in Sumy Oblast, Poltava Oblast, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and Mykolaiv Oblast. It is better to limit being outside and close the windows." - was advised in the hydrometeorological center.
