Suspects in Kyiv land theft released from custody

All those involved in the NABU special operation on the theft of state lands in Kyiv have been released from custody and bail has been posted for them. About this reported the Bihus.Info.

It begins with the fact that 50 million UAH was contributed for Kyiv City Council deputy Olena Marchenko;

— for the deputy and head of the land commission of the Kyiv City Council Mykhailo Terentyev — almost 20 million UAH;

— for Klitschko's deputy Petro Olenych — UAH 15 million;

— for the deputy director of the Kyivblagoustriy enterprise, Oleksiy Mushtu — 7 million UAH;

— for the first deputy director of the Special Housing Fund, Yuri Leonov — 4,5 million UAH.

They were detained in February after the NABU conducted Operation Clean City.

On February 6, 2025, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted investigative actions against businessman Denys Komarnytsky. The NABU press service reported at the time that the Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office "are conducting a large-scale operation "Clean City" to expose a criminal organization involved in land corruption in the Kyiv City Council."

NABU suspects former Kyiv City Council deputy Denys Komarnytskyi, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Petro Olenych, and Head of the Land Commission Mykhailo Terentyev of alleged corruption schemes in the land sector in 2023-2024.
