Vadim Danylyuk from Odesa became the silver medalist of the XNUMXth Summer Deaflympic Bowling Games held in Malaysia.

In addition to Vadym Danilyuk, Viktor Dykin, Mykhailo Kalika, Alla Dyachenko, Anzhelika Zhukova and Dmytro Shcherbakov will represent our region at the Deaflympic Games.
As a reminder, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2021 Deaflympic Summer Games took place in May this year in the city of Casillas do Sul. At that time, athletes from the Odesa region won 12 medals, and the national team of Ukraine with a result of 138 medals took the first overall team place.
Due to sanctions against Russia and Belarus, the organizing committee removed bowling from the program of the summer Deaflympics, so the 24th Deaflympics bowling games were decided to be held in October in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.
