The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Sijarto, will visit Minsk on October 31. There he will take part in a conference on "Eurasian security". It is reported Politico.
Siyarto will go to the event, which will be attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Syria, Bassam Sabbagh.
According to the plan of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), such a conference should become an "alternative" to the Munich Security Conference.
Politico points out that Siyarto's visits to Russia and Belarus are no longer surprising, but a possible connection with the regime in Syria, which is supported by Moscow, may indicate an improvement in relations between the parties.
