On March 23, the United States and Russia will hold talks in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on the agreements reached during the conversation between Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.
This was announced by Trump's special representative for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff. on Fox News. He noted that a US delegation will arrive in Saudi Arabia, consisting of Trump's National Security Advisor Mike Volz and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
According to Witkoff, the temporary ceasefire agreements include a halt to attacks on infrastructure in general. Trump's special representative expressed hope that Ukraine would support these initiatives.
"I certainly hope that the Ukrainians will agree to this. There are some details that still need to be agreed upon, but the talks will start on Sunday in Jeddah," he declared.
Russia has not officially confirmed its presence at the meeting. It is also unknown whether a Ukrainian delegation will be present.
