Russia attacked energy facilities in three regions of Ukraine, resulting in power outages for consumers, reported the Ministry of Energy.
As noted in the department, the enemy attacked the energy infrastructure of the Kharkiv, Odessa, and Donetsk regions.
"Repair and restoration work is underway on damaged energy infrastructure facilities," — noted the energy department.
The Ministry of Energy also reminded that on November 11, electricity will be turned off alternately in most regions of Ukraine throughout the day. Industry and business must also limit electricity consumption to a certain level by the end of the day.
The energy department added that changes to the outage schedule can be found on the website of the relevant regional energy company.
As added in "Ukrenergo", due to Russian shelling, up to 4 rounds of outages will be in effect in Ukraine by the end of the day instead of the 3,5 announced earlier.
The company notes that as of 9:30 a.m. today, electricity consumption in Ukraine was 2,6% higher than at the same time on Monday.
"The reason is cloudy weather with rain in most regions of Ukraine, which causes low efficiency of household solar power plants and a corresponding increase in the level of energy consumption from the general network," — explained there.
Ukrenergo added that due to heavy rain and gusts of wind on the morning of November 11, 16 settlements in the Kirovohrad region were completely or partially without electricity.
"All power outages are expected to be restored by the end of the current day," — are waiting in the company.
