Today, March 19, Germany will announce a new package of military aid to Ukraine. However, it is not worth waiting for information about Taurus missiles. This was announced by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius during a conversation with a correspondent "Radio Liberty«.
Pistorius emphasized the importance of achieving sustainable support for Ukraine, which is a "daily task." According to him, Berlin plans to expand cooperation with Poland, in particular in the production of ammunition, as well as to give Ukraine the opportunity to understand that it can continue to count on support.
"There is progress in the direction of ammunition. On the one hand, thanks to the Czech initiative, however, we will also be able to announce another package here today. The case progresses sometimes in small, sometimes larger steps. But the main thing is a constant supply of ammunition." - said the minister.
At the same time, when asked whether Ukraine can count on news about Taurus, he answered: "No, there is no news about that."
