On the night of November 3, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with several waves of "shaheeds", which entered the airspace from the east and south. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 66 UAVs and one X-59/69 missile, 27 drones were lost in location, one flew to Belarus. The command noted that the threat remains - they continue to "hunt" for two more "shaheds".

According to the warnings of the military, an air alert was declared in Kyiv at 19:46 p.m. on November 2 and lasted for 10 hours — until 6:41 a.m. on November 3. The air threat lasted as long in the Chernihiv region, and in the Sumy region, the alarm was announced at 14 p.m. November 2 and it continues until now, already at 18 p.m. In a number of other regions, the threat did not last so long: 2-5 hours. — in Zhytomyr, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa.
Kyiv OVA and chairman Ruslan Kravchenko reportedthat the air defense forces managed to shoot down all the Russian drones that attacked the capital on the night of November 3. The enemy failed to target critical and civilian infrastructure. However, UAV debris damaged four high-rise buildings in three residential areas and five private houses. Windows and doors were broken in buildings, roofs and facades were damaged. A fire also broke out on the roof of one of them - it has already been extinguished, OVA reported.

Fires broke out in houses and outbuildings in two more villages. Forest litter fires were also eliminated in three districts.
Serhii Popkov, head of KMDA confirmed that the anti-aircraft defense had successfully worked on the "shaheds". The official clarified that the debris fell in the Shevchenkivskyi and Holosiivskyi districts and, in addition to houses, damaged the road surface, a light pole, and power lines. The buildings affected by the attack are office premises on the 1st-9th floor, a dormitory on the 1st-2nd floor. According to Popka, there are no victims.
The official also published a photo with the consequences of the Russian attack on Kyiv. They show broken wires, which repairmen are already working on, and a gutted entrance door to the house.
Sumy OVA in the Telegram channel wrote about the downing of 11 "martyrs" over the region. Drones destroyed air defense units of the Ground Forces, ground defense forces, the National Guard and volunteer units.
Chernihiv OVA and head Vyacheslav Chaus published a photo of a two-story house in the village, damaged as a result of a night strike by the "shaheeds" of the Russian Federation. Windows in the building were broken, the facade and roof were damaged, an outbuilding was on fire next to it, and a car was on fire. There were no casualties, the official stressed.
