Uncontrolled "Wagnerians" can be a threat to other countries. The issue of mercenaries is likely to be a common challenge. About it during the joint briefing with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Har Stere, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said on August 24.
"I have been asked about him for the second time in a day. I feel like I'm at his funeral. The government of the Russian Federation brought us so many deaths, including Prigozhin. I can't say anything good about these people, I'm telling you frankly," the president said, adding that for Russian war criminals, in addition to the Hague and God's courts, there is an alternative in the face of Vladimir Putin.
At the same time, Zelensky noted that at the moment it is necessary to think about the 20 thousand mercenaries of "Wagner", who after Prigozhin's death were left without control and could be a threat to other countries.
"Our soldiers showed that this is the same enemy. Probably 20 thousand (in my opinion, this is what is left of the "Wagnerians") uncontrollable people. Here we have to think for whom it is more terrible: for Ukraine, for Belarus, for Poland, and maybe for Russia. No one knows," he said.
The leader emphasized that the enemy PKK without leadership will become a "general challenge".
