A difficult period in the war awaits Ukraine. Europe will have to be responsible for its own security. This was stated by the Chancellor of the Ministry of Defense of Estonia, Kusti Salm, reports ERR.
In his opinion, there will be a difficult period until the help of the West allows Ukraine to achieve balance in the war.
Salm hopes that in the coming months Europe will allocate funds to purchase long-range weapons for Ukraine.
"I think that day will come in the next few months. This will happen when the situation on the Ukrainian front becomes even more difficult, and the signals across the ocean will be even stranger. This will be the moment when Europe will actually have to be responsible for its own security," — an Estonian official believes.
