Restrictions have been imposed at checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border in connection with Russian strikes on the bridge near Mayaki. This was reported by the Moldovan border police in Facebook.
As noted by the border police, crossing the border in the direction of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi is allowed for all travelers without restrictions through the Tudora-Starokozache checkpoint.
At the same time, in the direction of the Odessa region, the crossing is allowed only for citizens of Ukraine and vehicles weighing up to 3,5 tons.
At the same time, crossing the border from the Republic of Moldova through the Palanka-Mayaki-Zruhne checkpoint is allowed only for citizens of Ukraine heading to Odessa (Ukraine), as well as for vehicles weighing up to 3,5 tons.
"A temporary pontoon bridge has been constructed over the Dniester River near the settlement of Mayaki (Ukraine), allowing it to be crossed," Moldovan border guards noted.
They recommended that Moldovan citizens refrain from traveling in this direction.
