The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine once again reminds citizens of the need to be vigilant during enemy shelling of critical infrastructure. The enemy continues to attack energy facilities, trying to leave Ukrainians without electricity, heat and water. In such conditions, it is important to know how to act and prepare in advance for possible disruptions.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges every family to have a basic supply of the most necessary things. First of all, drinking and technical water at the rate of at least 3 liters of drinking water and 11–12 liters of technical water per person per day. You should also take care of long-term storage products, medicines, and first aid supplies.
It is worth preparing a separate "emergency bag." It should contain documents, cash, a first aid kit, hygiene products, warm clothes, a flashlight, batteries, a power bank, chargers, and other items that may be needed in the event of an evacuation or a prolonged lack of utilities.
Explain safety rules to your children and make sure they know what to do in an emergency. Don't forget about your pets - prepare a supply of food and water for them.
Be prepared for possible increased security measures: follow official government announcements, keep mobile devices and alternative power sources charged, and limit your time outdoors, especially after dark.
