Later, Sobyanin informed that two houses were damaged by the drones. Residents of several entrances of these buildings were evacuated while the emergency services worked.
Simultaneously governor of the Moscow region Andriy Vorobyov announced the work of the Air Defense Forces.
"Several drones were shot down on the approach to Moscow. I ask residents to remain calm. All emergency services are working," said the head of the region.

Three of them were suppressed by means of radio-electronic warfare, lost control and deviated from the intended targets. Five more unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile-gun complex in the Moscow region," the report said.
However, according to Mash Telegram channel, drones targeted a high-rise building on Leninsky Prospekt in Moscow, and there are wounded. Also, fragments of the drone flew into the window of one of the apartments, so about 300 people were evacuated.
