Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine Denys Ulyutin announced that he will propose a pension reform to the Verkhovna Rada in the next 100 days, the ministry's press service reports.
He emphasized that the ministry will involve people's deputies in the early stages of developing such reforms:
- Solidarity pension system: guaranteed payments upon reaching old age, direct link between SSC contributions, their duration and the size of the pension.
- Transformation of special pensions into professional pensions, namely payment taking into account three factors - basic payment, variable pension component and professional - from different sources of funding
- Introduction of a mandatory savings system.
He also added that he wants to update social standards in the near future, in particular, introduce basic social assistance and reform the subsistence minimum.
Uyutin also announced plans that depend on the ministry, not the parliament. He noted that work will soon begin on launching a "one-stop shop" for IDPs, where they can receive assistance and support from the moment of evacuation to integration into a new community.
