The wife of the head of the main intelligence department, Kirill Budanov, Marianna, was poisoned with heavy metals, she is alive and has undergone the first stage of treatment. About the details of the incident in the GUR of the Ministry of Defense told edition "Ukrainian Pravda".
"UP" journalists talked with an anonymous intelligence source about the situation with Marianna Budanova. The unnamed interlocutor confirmed that the woman was indeed poisoned - this was shown by the results of the tests.
"She complained of not feeling well, so they passed the tests, which revealed poisoning," — the journalists quoted the words of the source.
According to sources, Budanov's wife "was most likely poisoned by food." "She is better now, the first stage of treatment has passed," — sources said.
In addition, it turned out that a few more employees of the Ministry of Defense were poisoned, the intelligence agency said. They explained that the symptoms of Budanov's wife appeared faster because she is "small and underweight." Meanwhile, the other victims were "little giants, they didn't notice anything behind them."
As of today, the poisoned are being treated, "UP" intelligence sources emphasized. Other details of the incident were not given.
