Massive attack on Odessa: destruction of cultural heritage and civilian infrastructure

The State Archives of the Odesa region were damaged in a Russian drone attack on the night of June 10. The building was hit by debris from an enemy drone. This was reported by the head of the State Archival Service of Ukraine Anatoly Khromov.

"As a result of the Russian attack, ammunition fragments were recorded on the territory of some central archives. Access to the archives may be temporarily closed for users while pyrotechnicians work," — he informed.

Despite the blow to cultural infrastructure, there were no casualties or losses of archival documents.

The drone attack also affected Odessa Film Studio. Production buildings, warehouses with costumes and props were damaged. The occupiers destroyed part of the filming complex, including the scenery for the film "Dovzhenko" and the set transport.

On the film studio's page at Facebook showed the consequences of the arrivals.

At night, Odesa suffered another enemy attack.

The shelling killed two men and injured nine others. Among them, five women and three men were injured, and another city resident suffered an acute stress reaction.

The attack damaged residential buildings, a maternity hospital, a blood transfusion station, a private clinic, a sports complex, a railway station, as well as cars belonging to Odessa residents. A drone also hit Odessa Zoo, where the animal died.
