French President Emmanuel Macron has condemned Russian occupiers' attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure. He also warned Russia of responsibility for its reluctance to sit down at the negotiating table. The French leader said this in X.
He stressed that the agreement reached in Gaza offers a glimmer of hope for peace in the Middle East, and added that the war in Ukraine must also end.
"If Russia continues its stubborn belligerence and refuses to sit at the negotiating table, it will have to pay for it," — Macron emphasized.
The French president said his country condemns the Russian invaders' attacks on critical infrastructure in Ukraine, saying the attacks are aimed at civilians on the eve of winter.
"Together with our partners, we are studying the necessary assistance to restore and ensure essential services. France stands by Ukraine more than ever, fully engaged within the Coalition of the Willing," — the French leader said.
