The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Oleksandr Lukashenko, said that "several targets" that flew from Ukraine were shot down over the country. About this reported in Lukashenka's press service.
"Yesterday at 18:10 p.m., the forces of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of Belarus were put on high alert," — the message says.
Lukashenko emphasized that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly violated all rules of conduct and violated the airspace of the Republic of Belarus.
"In the eastern direction, very close to us in the Kostyukovich district. Therefore, air defense forces were put on full combat readiness to intercept targets. There were about a dozen of them", he declared.
Also, according to him, the search for what was destroyed is now underway.
"We suspect that these are attack drones. Violating the airspace of Belarus, they flew from Ukraine", he added.
