London does not plan to send its troops to Ukraine, — Sunak

Prime Minister of Great Britain Rishi Sunak said that the country does not currently plan to send its military instructors to Ukraine to train soldiers. Thus, he commented on the statement of the Minister of Defense of Great Britain Grant Shapps on this topic.

According to Sunak, his subordinate was misunderstood. About this write Sky News.

"I think that the information about this was distorted. What the Minister of Defense said is that it is quite possible that one day in the future we will conduct part of this training in Ukraine. But that's about the long term, not the here and now," Sunak said.

He also denied that British soldiers could take a direct part in hostilities in Ukraine.

"What we are doing is training Ukrainians. We do it here in the UK. It's something everyone should be proud of because it makes a huge difference," says Sunak.

Recall that the new defense minister of Great Britain, Grant Shapps, who has just returned from Ukraine, said in an interview with a British newspaper that he discussed with the leadership of the British army the issue of transferring the training program of Ukrainian soldiers directly to Ukraine.
