Lithuania decided to join the air defense coalition created by Germany. The country will buy radars. This was reported by the Minister of Defense of Lithuania, Laurinas Kaschyunas, whom he quotes Delphi.
He stated that the Lithuanian government allocates 13,5 million euros for the purchase of radars to strengthen the warning system in Ukraine.
"And thus we join the coalition with air defense initiated by Germany," he emphasized.
According to Kaschyunas, Lithuania will buy four radars for Ukraine by the end of this year and will continue the purchase.
"The goal this year is four. They will increase alerting, visual warning, and then the ability to destroy all aerial objects," — said the Minister of Defense.
