Former Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Serhiy Kyslytsia has received a new position. He was appointed First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. About this reported the government portal.
The corresponding order was issued by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on February 12, 2025.
"To appoint Serhiy Olehovych Kyslytsia as First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine", - says the document.
Serhiy Kyslytsia served as Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the United Nations for five years. He was appointed on December 19, 2019, and was dismissed from his post during the diplomatic sector rotations conducted by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in late December 2024.
Kyslytsia became famous online due to his harsh statements regarding Russian representatives at the UN.
