On Friday, July 17, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed acting ministers of defense and foreign affairs. About this said Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky.
"In agreement with the president, the government appointed Yevheniy Khmara as acting Minister of Defense and Andriy Sybiga as acting Minister of Foreign Affairs," his statement says.
Koretsky stressed the importance of maintaining continuity of work in the areas of defense and foreign policy.
He also announced the reorganization of the structure of ministries in accordance with parliamentary decisions.
"We are restoring the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, creating a separate Ministry for Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons. We have separated the areas of economy and environment and recovery, as well as infrastructure and transport," — the Prime Minister noted.
