The Cabinet of Ministers has approved changes that allow regions to introduce flexible curfew rules during the energy emergency. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery, Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba in Telegram.
According to Kuleba, the curfew is expected to be eased in Kyiv in the near future.
The innovations will work as follows:
- During an energy emergency, you can access the safety points 24/7. No passes are required for this.
- Private transport is allowed if a person is going to the point of invincibility. Public transport is allowed by decision of local authorities, taking into account the security situation.
- Points of invulnerability can be shops, pharmacies, gas stations, service establishments, and shopping and entertainment centers, if they have: autonomous power supply; heating; stable communication; extension cords, and free hot tea.
- For businesses that officially function as a point of inviolability, the opportunity to work 24/7 is provided.
