Israel has begun mobilizing tens of thousands of reservists in preparation for an expanded ground operation in the Gaza Strip, an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman said. transmits Bloomberg.

Bloomberg adds that Hamas continues to control the coastal strip in general and still holds hostages and the bodies of those who died in captivity. The hostages are believed to include 24 living people and 35 bodies of the dead. All of them were kidnapped in the attack on October 7, 2023.
