The fortune of billionaire entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla Elon Musk increased by $20 billion after the victory of Donald Trump in the presidential elections in the United States. About this reported the CoinTelegraph citing Forbes.

According to Forbes, Musk, who has been one of Trump's biggest financial donors, saw his fortune rise by more than 7,5% in one day to $285,6 billion.

Tesla shares also rose nearly 15% on Nov. 6 to close at $286,74 after the main session — the stock's highest price since September 2022, according to Google Finance data.

Musk, who spoke at a rally with Trump in Pennsylvania, had a lot at stake in this election, having donated at least $119 million to a super committee supporting the former president, according to The New York Times.

Jeff Bezos, the world's second-richest person behind Elon Musk, added $7 billion to his fortune to $223,5 billion after Amazon shares rose 3,8 percent to an all-time high of $207 by the close of trading on Nov. 6.
