Europe will have to "rethink" relations with the Russian Federation after a full-scale war in Ukraine. The new reality requires the construction of a new international order. This was announced by French President Emmanuel Macron during Meetings for peace.
"We will have to think about a new form of European organization and rethink our relations with Russia after the war in Ukraine," — Macron said.
At the same time, the French president noted that the new reality in Europe requires a new international order, which was conceived at the end of the Second World War and did not have the problems that later appeared and became dominant.
“Most of the countries on this planet and many of the most populous countries did not exist when the seats were distributed. That is why the international order in which the world lives today is "blocked" - he added.
In the end, Macron noted that Europe needs an order where some countries cannot block others and where countries are represented with dignity.
