The National Police of the Odesa region reported the suspicion to Serhiy Kondratyuk, who heads the administration of the Suvoriv district of the city of Odesa and is a deputy of the Odesa district council from the "Trust in business" party.
The investigation claims that the official, using his official position, took possession of UAH 714.
Serhiy Kondratyuk was responsible for the logistical support of ground defense and the purchase of special equipment and military uniforms. The official deliberately entered into a contract with a related commercial structure and purchased thermal clothing, sleeping bags and sleeping bags at inflated prices.
Law enforcement officials believe that thanks to such actions, the head of the RDA took possession of 714 thousand hryvnias, since he did not take any action to find a better offer on the market.
Serhiy Kondratyuk is charged under Part 2, Article 364 — abuse of power or official position, which provides for 3 to 6 years of imprisonment.
We will remind that by the decision of the Odesa city operational headquarters, created for the purpose of ensuring the defense of the state, in connection with the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the Suvoriv district administration was entrusted with the logistical support of territorial defense units and volunteer formations of territorial defense of Odesa.
