DTEK CEO Maksym Timchenko called on European energy companies and banks to support the Ukrainian energy system. He said this said in an interview with The Times.
“The CEO of Ukraine’s largest private energy company has called on European energy companies and banks to support the country’s electricity infrastructure,” — it says.
Timchenko noted that the Ukrainian power system now needs equipment to restore after the shelling.
"We need used or new equipment to rehabilitate our power plants. This is necessary to minimize the electricity generation deficit in the country, and of course we also need financial support," he emphasized.
Previously, Timchenko stated that in Davos, DTEK was looking for partners to strengthen the Ukrainian energy system.
