The Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Health are working on the introduction of electronic referrals to the military medical commission, said Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko.
«The Ministry of Defense is currently consulting with the Ministry of Health on how to implement electronic referrals to the VLK through "Reserve+" for both conscripts and active soldiers."
Chernogorenko noted that the most likely such referral will include a QR code, by which VLK doctors will be able to identify a person.
Separately, according to her, the MOU is working with the Ministry of Health to create an electronic system for military doctors, which will display all information about the treatment of soldiers. The Deputy Minister of Defense clarified that such data can now be obtained in the central database of any hospital or hospital, if a request is made.
However, in her opinion, it is necessary to create a separate database with stories of treatment or rehabilitation of soldiers for the convenience of military doctors. Chernogorenko clarified that such a mechanism is planned to be implemented by the end of 2024.
