Ukraine's two main tasks in negotiations with Russia — Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Ukrainian delegation sets itself two tasks

Ukraine is participating in negotiations with Russia, despite the fact that Moscow is sending "low-level" officials. The Ukrainian delegation has two tasks. This was announced by the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhiy Tykhyi, in a podcast "Soil with Notevsky".

He noted that Ukraine is participating in negotiations with the Russian Federation in order to resolve humanitarian problems and return people from captivity.

"The second equally important political and communication task is to prevent anyone from accusing Ukraine of being a party that does not want peace. And there are quite a few such attempts in different circles, in different countries, even allied countries," explained Tychiy.

According to him, in order to prove that Ukraine seeks peace, the Ukrainian delegation is traveling to negotiations with the Russian Federation, although the level of the Kremlin delegation is low.

"The composition of the Ukrainian delegation demonstrates that for us security and humanitarian issues are a priority, but everything else is secondary," said the spokesman.
