Peace in Ukraine is still a long way off. The Allies must ensure the country a secure future after the war. This requires security guarantees. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said this in an interview Rheinische Post.
"And we are still far from peace," — a German politician said.
According to him, now is not the time for such speculation, since nothing should be decided through the heads of Ukrainians.
“It would be good news if the war in Ukraine came to an end. But even then we still have to ensure a secure future for Ukraine. It’s about security guarantees, but also about how Ukraine can maintain a strong army that we can arm together,” — the Chancellor emphasized.
