The verification showed that almost 180 citizens mistakenly receive payments as internally displaced persons.
Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk stated this on the air of the national telethon.
"What I know right now, as of today, is that 109 are permanently abroad, living there and receiving benefits there, and receiving benefits as internally displaced persons," she said.
In addition, almost 10 Ukrainians are in the registers of the State Statistics Service as deceased, but they continue to receive payments.
The Deputy Prime Minister reported that errors were also found in the register when two family members, for example, a father and a mother, applied for payments to the same children. According to her, almost 60 such families were found.
All errors will be corrected and payments to such persons will be stopped.
