Military data will be combined into a single system: government decision

The government has approved the creation of a single digital registry of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Service for the Protection of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This database will allow the introduction of electronic military tickets and the automation of most army paper procedures. This was reported by Ministry of Defence Ukraine.

According to the ministry, the new registry will relieve servicemen of paperwork: they will no longer have to submit the same certificates to different institutions. Through the "Army+" application, it will be possible to receive social payments and digital services faster, and the data of soldiers will be under reliable protection.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that for the command this means constant access to up-to-date information about personnel. Automation of accounting will allow officers to spend less time on paperwork and focus on priority combat missions.

For the state as a whole, this step means:

coherence of state information systems;
transparency and high accuracy of data;
more rational use of public resources.

The registry will automatically exchange data with other government databases, so information about military personnel will always be up-to-date. The government has also clearly defined rules for storing this information and reliably protecting it from unauthorized access.

"Electronic interaction with other state registers is envisaged to ensure accuracy, relevance and automation of data receipt - in particular with the Unified State Demographic Register, the State Register of Civil Status Acts and the State Register of Individuals - Taxpayers", - reported the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
