Russian forces again attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure at night. The shelling in the Chernihiv region left about 50 people without electricity, and emergency power outages continue. This is reported by Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
According to the ministry, as a result of Russian shelling in the Chernihiv region, emergency power outages affected about 50 consumers. At the same time, the hourly power outage schedule continues to operate in the region.
"Energy professionals are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible and cancel the hourly outage schedules that were forcibly introduced by Chernihivoblenergo," noted the Ministry of Energy.
As the ministry emphasized, targeted attacks on energy infrastructure facilities are yet another evidence of the terrorist methods used by the enemy.
"The Ministry of Energy expresses its gratitude to the energy workers who, risking their own lives, continue to do their work and ensure the functioning of the energy system," — added to the Ministry of Energy.
