Britain announced during the Ramstein format meeting that it would allocate a large package of military assistance to Ukraine in the field of air defense in the amount of almost 685 million euros. This was stated by British Defense Minister John Healy, reports Sky News.
"Kyiv will receive air defense systems, missiles and automated turrets to shoot down drones. Ukrainians continue to fight with great courage - both military and civilian," — Gilly said.
The British Defense Minister is co-chairing the 32nd meeting of the Contact Group on Defense Issues in Ukraine in the Ramstein format.
"The UK's investment of £600 million (about €685 million – ed.) this year is critically important help for Ukrainians defending their towns, villages and energy infrastructure from Russia's barbaric attacks," he added.
The British Defense Minister also emphasized that together as partners, London is working to provide vital support to Ukraine's defense to put it in the strongest possible position to secure peace.
