Citizens who have debts for housing and communal services will face problems when selling apartments or passing them on as an inheritance. People's deputy of Ukraine, first deputy chairman of the committee on energy and housing and communal services Oleksiy Kucherenko told about this, the publication reports "Retired".
Nardep stressed, that despite the moratorium on housing and communal services tariff increases, many residents of Kyiv do not pay for water. And this despite the fact that the tariff for water drainage remains at the level of 37 hryvnias per month, while, for example, residents of Uman already pay 120 hryvnias.
According to Kucherenko, the state should address this issue and strengthen legislation. For example, if the debts are not repaid, they will be a burden on the apartment. In this case, the apartment cannot be sold or bequeathed. People's deputy emphasized that this is an honest solution to the issue.
