Boris Johnson described Trump's possible peace plan

The former president of the USA and candidate for this post from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, is capable of saving the Ukrainian state. A Republican can help achieve peace in Ukraine, says former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's column for Daily Mail.

"After talking with Donald Trump this week, I am more convinced than ever that he has the strength and courage to fix everything, save Ukraine, bring peace and stop the destructive spread of the conflict," — the ex-prime minister shared.

Johnson also described Trump's possible peace plan for Ukraine.

"I believe that Trump can put an end to this - on the right terms for Ukraine and the West. I emphasize that I cannot be sure what exactly he will do if he is elected. But that's what he could do." he thinks

The exhibitor added that he is a republican "could conclude a great agreement for the world, in which Putin will finally be convinced that the future of Ukraine is to be a free, sovereign and independent European country." The former Prime Minister of Great Britain believes that in order to achieve peace, we must first strengthen our country.

"... the Russians are using aerial bombs to inflict significant damage on Ukrainian positions. But the Ukrainians cannot answer because the US does not allow them to use ATACMS (army tactical missile systems, — Ed.) to attack Russian airfields, and Great Britain, unfortunately, does not allow them to use Storm Shadow (long-range air-based cruise missiles, — Ed.)", — he shared.

Johnson believes that "Trump could simply do what seems natural to him — end the bureaucratic confusion and delays, give the Ukrainians the permits they need, and then, when Putin is pushed out again, offer a deal."

The former head of the British government predicted that Putin will have to retreat at least to the borders that existed before the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

"...in order to avoid future conflicts and uncertainty, the other part of Ukraine will have to be recognized as a free country, capable of choosing its own destiny within the framework of the EU and NATO and absolutely ready to join as soon as possible," — emphasized the ex-prime minister.
