The government of Ukraine has suspended state regulation of fuel prices.
An agreement was reached with market operators on the maximum price of gasoline and diesel fuel at gas stations. This was stated by the Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyridenko, on the air of the telethon.
"According to the results of today's meeting of the operational headquarters, an agreement was made that we, on the part of the state, suspend price regulation so that operators can saturate the market with the necessary resource," said Svyridenko.
The minister added that in case of violation of agreements and abuse in the market, sanctions will be imposed against the operators.
