Over the past day, emergency crews have been working in difficult weather conditions. The work began in an icy downpour, and later the specialists continued to eliminate the accidents during a blizzard and strong winds.
Despite the fact that the air temperature was around -5°C, due to gusts of wind it felt like -16°C. This significantly complicated the repair work outdoors.
During the day, the crews eliminated several network failures at once. In some cases, workers had to perform manual excavations in severe frost conditions, being knee-deep in cold water.
None of the crews stopped working despite the difficult circumstances. The main priority remained to restore water supply as quickly as possible to residents who were waiting for service to return to their homes.
