Abnormal heat in Ukraine continues. In the last three days, on July 12-14, seven temperature records were updated in Kyiv. It is reported Central Geophysical Observatory.
According to climatologists, two temperature records were set in Kyiv on July 12.
The minimum air temperature in the capital turned out to be the highest for this day: the temperature did not drop below 22,8 degrees. The previous record value of 2021 was exceeded by 0,8 degrees.
The average daily air temperature turned out to be the highest during the observation period for this day and amounted to 28,7 degrees, which exceeded the previous record of 1959 by 1,4 degrees, and the climatic norm - by 7,5 degrees.
In addition, two temperature records were also set in the capital on July 13.
The maximum air temperature reached 35,4 degrees, which is 1,3 degrees higher than the previous record of 1936. The average daily temperature was 29,0 degrees, which exceeded the previous record of 1951 by 0,7 degrees, and the climatic norm - by 8,3 degrees.
On Sunday, July 14, meteorologists recorded three temperature records.
The minimum temperature did not drop below 22,7 degrees. The previous record value of 1951 was exceeded by 1,6 degrees.
The maximum air temperature reached 35,9 degrees, which is 2,7 degrees higher than the previous record of 1951.
The average daily temperature is 29,2 degrees, which exceeded the previous record of 1951 by 1,8 degrees, and the climatic norm - by 8,2 degrees.
A total of ten temperature records have already been set since the beginning of the month. The first was recorded on July 11.
