On May 11, one of the highlights of the Sport Day festival took place in Mark Twain Park — a performance by legendary Ukrainian strongman Mykola Pasichnyk. Despite his advanced age, the hero demonstrated a spectacular show of superhuman strength that delighted both children and adult spectators.
In front of hundreds of spectators, Mykola Pasichnyk bent nails and horseshoes, twisted rebar, lay on broken glass while holding people on top of him, and also burned himself with open fire. Every element of the performance caused loud ovations from the audience, and emotions overwhelmed even experienced spectators.

Mykola Antonovych is the first master of sports in sambo and hand-to-hand combat, winner of over 200 medals, a descendant of true Ukrainian Cossacks. His physical form is no less impressive today than it was decades ago.
The organizers of the event were the "Trymai" charitable foundation and the "7:40 events" event agency.
Sport Day in Mark Twain Park became a true celebration of strength, endurance, and Ukrainian spirit, and Mykola Pasichnyk's performance was its main highlight.
