"Army of robots" and "Army of EW" (radio-electronic warfare) will appear in Ukraine. This was announced by Mykhailo Fedorov during the conference Forbes Tech November 23.
"Soon we will launch the "Robot Army", "REB Army". We will rely on our ideology — market opening, transparency and the maximum opportunity to attract entrepreneurs who have already created various products, know how to scale products," — said Fedorov.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that it is important not only to propose innovative developments, but also to be able to scale them.
Fedorov also told what the Ministry of Digital Affairs team is currently working on, what the priorities will be in 2024, and how the IT business should contribute to victory:
"The key directions on which we are currently working and will continue to work are innovations, education, defense-tech. All our projects are aimed at the development of innovations and technologies. It is important for us to listen to the needs of the market, to give business opportunities for development and to promote competition between entrepreneurs to generate important innovative solutions.
— We help the Ministry of Education to reboot, form a certain strategy and transform each link. Earlier, the president stated that Ukraine's GDP should grow to $1 trillion. This cannot be achieved unless education is transformed. In countries with a high level of GDP, education is an inclusive and independent institution.
— The Ministry of Digital is creating an innovation strategy. We plan to analyze the experience of the top countries by GDP level and the 100 most innovative companies in the world. Our priority areas for stimulation and development are AI, Defense Tech, EdTech, GovTech, MedTech, BioTech, Saving ecosystems, AgriFood Tech and XR.
"Diya" showed itself well in security issues. There are no data leaks, everything is working properly. Almost 20 million Ukrainians already use the application. In addition, we are working on a number of new services through "Diya" - "eBooking", "eRenewal", "eEntrepreneur", car re-registration, "Diya Office" and others.
— In 2024, we will launch "Mria" — an application for analyzing and monitoring success. When we know how the child learns, what grades he gets, in which subjects he develops, we can recommend him new educational trajectories, offer free courses that will interest him.
"I always repeat at meetings with businessmen that today without your participation (not only donations, although without which there is nothing) in the creation of technological projects for the defense of the country, we will not be able to achieve quick results on the battlefield. Today, the war is technological - EW, drones, satellite communication, kamikaze boats - all this leads to the fact that we lose less people and destroy more of the enemy. We call on everyone to understand that you are the most senior in this room, take responsibility, work with the Ministry of Digital and defeat the enemy."
