The source learned that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will receive an under-screen front camera. More precisely, the smartphone will have two versions: with a regular selfie sensor and with an "invisible" one. At the same time, in terms of "iron", they will be identical.
By the way, this technology is not new for Xiaomi. The manufacturer already has smartphones with an underscreen camera - for example, Xiaomi MIX 4, released in 2021.
In general, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra should turn out to be a rather unique camera phone. There is information that instead of one telephoto lens, Xiaomi will install two at once, which will complement the main 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 sensor and an ultra-wide-angle sensor - all 50 megapixels.
The battery capacity will also increase, and the hardware basis of the phone will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor - it is already used in the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro. And in the top configuration, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a 1 TB drive.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to debut in March-April. It is worth noting that the predecessor in the form of Xiaomi 13 Ultra was announced in mid-April 2023.
