Samsung officially presented the most budget model of the Galaxy A line – Galaxy A06. This is a replacement for the Galaxy A05/A05s, but in a new design and with a "pumped" screen, writes GizmoChina.
Unlike its predecessors, the phone's design features the 'Key Island' aesthetic we've already seen on the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55. It is a small protrusion on the right side of the case that raises the power and volume buttons. The edges of the "island" are rounded, so it does not cling to the finger and does not interfere with using the phone.
Although the Galaxy A06 has retained the 6,7-inch LCD display, like its predecessor, the refresh rate has been increased from 60 to 90 Hz, which is a very significant plus for a device of this price category.
The MediaTek Helio G85 chip is responsible for performance, as in the A05. It offers 64GB or 128GB storage options paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The camera system also remains the same, with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP selfie camera. 5000mAh battery with 25W charging.
The phone comes with the latest version of Android 14, but without the Galaxy AI features. The company promises four years of major updates and 5 years of security updates, which is unmatched in this price range.
The gadget is currently only available in Vietnam, but the global version probably won't make you wait. For the younger version of the Galaxy A06 with 64 GB, they ask for $ 125 (4900 UAH), and the older version with 128 GB was estimated at $ 150 (6000 UAH).
