American OpenAI, the developer of the ChatGPT chatbot, recently started training a new artificial intelligence (AI) model, according to its announcement.
The company expects the "resulting systems to take us to a new level of possibility" on the road to universal AI.
In April, the Financial Times wrote that OpenAI is approaching the release of a new AI model that will be able to reason and plan. This ability is an important element in the context of AI development, the newspaper noted.
It was reported that the model will be called GPT-5.
At the same time, the company established a security committee, which will make recommendations to the board of directors on critical decisions regarding its projects and activities in this area.
In the next 90 days, it will evaluate OpenAI's processes and security measures taken by it, after which the company will publish information about the recommendations adopted for implementation.
