Seven ships have already used the temporary corridor in the Black Sea. Dmytro Pletenchuk, the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, told about it.
"Seven ships have already passed through the new corridor. That is, these are seven out of seven successful cases. Two went in, seven came out. The five ships are the ones that were here before the full-scale invasion began. Accordingly, this process is ongoing. We are doing everything to ensure the safety of the area where ships are in our territorial waters," said Pletenchuk.
He explained that the ships then reach the territorial waters of Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey and all the way to the Bosphorus Bay.
"This is already the territorial sea of NATO countries... The use of fire on this territory means the use of fire on the sovereign territory of these countries. Therefore, they (Russians, editor) cannot decide on such a thing," Pletenchuk noted.
According to him, today the danger in the Black Sea remains precisely because of Russian aviation and missile weapons. At the same time, the enemy no longer brings naval groups to the water area, because he is afraid of their destruction.
