Last weekend, on July 9, a stylistic brunch was held in Odesa by Labartkava Image Laboratory - "Ukrainian Fashion Senses", which featured clothes, accessories and perfumes by Ukrainian designers. How Ukrainian fashion has transformed over the years. The meaning of embroidery as symbols of the people and the power of the codes that are encrypted in the patterns.
Event organizer, stylist Olena Labartkava-Verdі, which founded an online platform for Ukrainian artists United Ukrainian Unleashed ART, opening the brunch, noted that even in spite of the war, we should continue to live, work and support each other.
"I sincerely thank all our partners for their support in the organization, the guests - for participating in the brunch, and our soldiers of the Armed Forces - for the opportunity to work peacefully, develop and support our Ukrainian," Olena added.
The stylish brunch was hospitably hosted by the Fratelli restaurant in Odessa, which gathered connoisseurs of Ukrainian fashion in Odessa.
The first presentation was from Oleksiy Radyan, the owner of the ZHAN chain of perfume shops. Oleksiy presented to the public the perfume "Chervona Kalina", produced in collaboration with Bohdan Zubchenko, with whom the network has been cooperating since 2009.
"After some time after the start of the war, we realized that we had to continue working, creating, that's why such a collaboration with Bohdan arose, which gave birth to the Ukrainian perfume "Red viburnum", - said Oleksiy Radyan.
The director of the ZAN network, Olena Smilyanska, spoke in more detail about the concept and creation of the perfume "Red Viburnum".
“It was June or May last year when this famous song was playing everywhere. It has a long history – it was born as an anthem of Sich shooters, which inspired them to fight for victory, to the end. Therefore, we quickly decided on the name of the perfume. Our illustrators developed the design and work on the fragrance began. There was a flight to the very laboratory where Bohdan Zubchenko worked, but thank God everything went well and the fragrance was produced," said Olena Smilyanska.
She added that when creating the fragrance, the authors wanted to convey the smell of Ukraine in it.
"Red viburnum" is the smell of will, the steppe and herbs, our scorching hot land. All auxiliary substances and oils, everything was produced in Ukraine - that's all, the smells of our country. To date, the entire first batch is sold out, and we have already ordered the next one. The fragrance "Red viburnum" was also presented in other countries. It's not about time, it's about a specific moment in the life of Ukraine," Olena Smilyanska added.
Also at the event, the stylist of Apartment 13 stores Boris presented several items of Ukrainian designers exhibited in Kyiv and Odesa CONCEPT SPACE Apt. 13, and talked about the peculiarities of Ukrainian designer clothes and accessories.
The well-known Odesa cosmetologist Alla Grabchenko told the guests of the brunch about today's science of beauty in Ukraine and its philosophy.
"Thinking about cosmetology and its goals, I realized for myself that it is not about beauty, but about human energy and inspiration. The people who come to me are all beautiful, and they want to keep their naturalness, their wrinkles, to be well-groomed and confident. It's about recovery and preservation, about self-love," said Alla Grabchenko.
In her opinion, wrinkles for a person are not about age, but about the meaning of life. Cosmetology science allows you to look good today at any age, the main thing is the correct perception of yourself.
"Our oldest patient is 87. She has so much energy that we are sometimes just envious," Alla added.
At the stylistic brunch from Labartkava Image Laboratory, it was possible to get acquainted with a great variety of Ukrainian designer clothes, accessories, perfumery and cosmetology innovations.
