The lawyer explained whether the Territorial Centers for recruitment and social support have the resources for mass fines for conscripts for not updating their military registration data.

"In case of failure to update their data, conscripts may be held administratively liable, and such persons may be punished in the form of a fine in the amount of 17 hryvnias." said the expert.
At the same time, the lawyer drew attention to the fact that there is a note to Article 210 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, which states that "the provisions of Articles 210 and 210-1 do not apply, i.e. no fine is imposed, in the event that the holder of the Unified State Register of conscripts, conscripts and reservists can obtain personal data through electronic interaction with other registers or databases held by state bodies."
The lawyer explained that, "theoretically, a representative of the TCC in each specific case of non-updation of military registration data should go to another register and see if there is any information about the person's place of residence, e-mail and phone number."
In this connection, he gave an example. "If you are a registered FOP, even by entering the public unified state register of legal entities and individuals, you can find your data, which must be specified when updating." - he said.
The lawyer also recalled that previously Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko also publicly stated that TCC representatives should themselves check the data of the registers to which they have access and fine a person for updating only when such data is not in the registers.
"But, I very much doubt that representatives of the TCC will spend time searching for information in the register." - said Pryadka. He also answered the question of whether the TCC has the resources for mass imposition of fines, and whether such a task is a priority.
"First of all, it is necessary to understand that the main task of the TCC is the selection of citizens for military service. There are currently no resources for massive fines in the TCC system." said the lawyer.
